The Aiken City Council could take the first step toward selling the Newberry Hall building Monday evening. On the agenda for first reading at the 7 p.m. council meeting is an ordinance approving the sale of 117 Newberry Street – the Newberry Hall building – to Newberry Hall owners Patrick and Natalie Carlisle, for $1.15 million.Â
